About Merixa Management Micro
Merixa Management Micro is a local-first business financial-management application designed to help users understand cash, analyse management information, test scenarios and maintain a practical management review process.
Depending on the functionality available in your version, Management Micro includes tools for:
cash planning and visibility;
planned and actual cash movements;
client and supplier information;
management accounts;
budget and prior-period variance analysis;
scenario analysis;
stress testing;
actions and review cycles;
Owner Briefs and management reports;
PDF and CSV exports;
encrypted Management Micro workspaces;
thresholds, reminders and notifications; and
other management and financial-analysis activities.
Getting help
If Management Micro is not operating as expected, we recommend first checking:
that you are using the latest available version of Management Micro;
that your device operating system is reasonably up to date;
that sufficient storage space is available on your device;
that any relevant permissions required by the feature are enabled; and
that restarting the Application or device does not resolve the problem.
If the issue continues, contact:
When contacting us, it is helpful to include:
the device model;
Android or iOS version;
Management Micro version;
the area of the Application affected;
a short description of what happened;
the steps that led to the issue; and
a screenshot, where appropriate.
Please do not send confidential financial information, client information, passwords, encryption credentials or other sensitive material unless it is genuinely necessary for us to investigate the issue.
Your data stays locally on your device
Management Micro is designed around local-device processing.
Business and financial information entered into Management Micro is designed to remain within the Application environment on your phone or tablet rather than being stored in a Merixa user account or central Merixa user-content database.
Merixa therefore cannot normally:
view your locally stored Management Micro information;
remotely retrieve your management accounts;
access your locally stored scenarios;
recover locally stored client or supplier information;
remotely restore deleted Application information; or
remotely delete information that Merixa never possessed.
If information is important to your business, you should maintain appropriate exports or device backups.
For full details, please refer to the Merixa Management Micro Privacy Policy.
Backups and changing devices
Management Micro does not operate a Merixa cloud workspace or central backup service for your locally stored working information.
Depending on your device and operating-system settings, Application information may be included within:
an Android or iOS device backup;
Google or Apple backup services;
a device-transfer process; or
another backup service configured by you.
Before:
replacing your phone or tablet;
resetting your device;
clearing Application storage; or
uninstalling Management Micro,
make sure you have preserved any information or reports that you need.
Merixa cannot restore locally stored information that was never transmitted to Merixa.
Encrypted Management Micro workspaces
Management Micro supports local encryption and decryption for supported Application information.
An encrypted Management Micro workspace can be used to move an analytical workspace between compatible Management Micro users.
Where supported, another Management Micro user receiving an encrypted workspace may be able to:
import the workspace;
review the existing information;
change assumptions;
run scenarios or tests;
update actions and reviews; and
create a further encrypted workspace for onward collaboration.
Because the workspace remains a Management Micro working environment, the recipient may require their own valid Management Micro access.
Merixa does not operate a central server through which these workspaces are collaboratively edited.
If an encrypted workspace cannot be opened
Check that:
the file has not been renamed, damaged or altered;
the complete file was transferred;
the recipient is using a compatible/current version of Management Micro;
the correct decryption information is being used; and
the file was originally created by Management Micro.
If you still experience a technical problem, contact contact@merixa.co.uk.
Do not send an encrypted workspace to Merixa unless we specifically ask for it as part of a support investigation and you are authorised to disclose the information it contains.
Reports and exports
Management Micro can produce and export supported management information.
Depending on the Application version, this may include:
Owner Briefs;
Complete Management Reports;
page or section reports;
PDF reports;
CSV information; and
other supported exports.
Ordinary exported reports can be shared with an appropriate recipient without requiring that recipient to use Management Micro.
When you export or share information, you control:
whether it is exported;
who receives it;
how it is sent; and
where it is subsequently stored.
If another application is used to send or store a report, such as email, messaging or cloud storage, that service operates under its own terms and privacy practices.
Purchase and subscription support
Purchases and subscriptions are administered through the store from which you obtained Management Micro.
Google Play
If you subscribed through Google Play, your subscription is associated with the Google account used for the purchase.
You can manage your subscription through:
Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
From there you can normally:
view your active subscription;
check the renewal date;
change an available subscription option;
update the relevant payment method; or
cancel future renewal.
Uninstalling Management Micro does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
The subscription must be cancelled through Google Play.
Apple App Store
Where Management Micro is available through the Apple App Store, subscriptions purchased through Apple are managed through the Apple account used for the purchase.
On supported Apple devices this can normally be accessed through:
Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions
Deleting the Application does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription.
Free trials
Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, its duration and applicable conditions are displayed through the relevant application store before subscription.
Where the offer forms part of an automatically renewing subscription, the subscription may convert to paid access after the trial ends unless it is cancelled within the time specified by the relevant store.
The exact trial conditions displayed when you subscribe govern that offer.
Cancellation
Cancelling an automatically renewing subscription normally prevents the next renewal.
You will generally retain access until the end of the subscription period that has already been paid for, subject to the applicable store terms.
Cancellation does not normally delete locally stored Management Micro information.
You should manage any locally stored information separately within your device and Application.
Refunds
Payments made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are generally administered through the platform through which the purchase was made.
For store purchase or billing issues, you may therefore need to use the relevant platform's refund or purchase-support process.

Nothing in our support arrangements affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Purchase not recognised by the Application
If you have paid for Management Micro but the expected access is not appearing:
confirm that you are signed into the device using the store account that made the purchase;
confirm through Google Play or the App Store that the subscription is active;
make sure Management Micro is up to date;
restart the Application; and
use any available restore or entitlement-check function within the Application.
If access still does not appear, contact us and provide:
your platform;
Management Micro version;
the approximate purchase date; and
the store order or transaction reference where appropriate.
Do not send complete payment-card details or account passwords.
Merixa does not need your full card number, Google password or Apple Account password to investigate Application access.
Notifications
Management Micro may allow you to configure management notifications, reminders, cash thresholds, actions and quiet times.
If notifications are not appearing:
check the relevant notification is enabled inside Management Micro;
check your device notification permissions;
check any quiet-time settings;
check operating-system battery or background restrictions where relevant; and
confirm that the relevant event or threshold has actually been triggered.
Notification availability can also depend on your device and operating-system configuration.
Calculations or results look incorrect
Management Micro produces calculations and analyses from the information and assumptions supplied to it.
If a result appears unexpected, first check:
the period selected;
input amounts;
planned versus actual classification;
prior-period information;
budget information;
assumptions;
scenario adjustments;
stress-test settings; and
any thresholds or filters applied.
Changing an assumption or input may materially change the output.
Management Micro is a financial-management and decision-support tool. It does not independently verify the accuracy of the information entered by the user.
If you believe the Application itself is calculating something incorrectly, contact us with a description of the issue.
Where possible, provide a simplified example that does not contain confidential business information.
Client and supplier information
Management Micro may allow users to record client, supplier or other business-contact details.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to enter and process this information.
Merixa does not receive such information merely because it is entered into Management Micro locally.
Please see the Merixa Management Micro Privacy Policy for further information.
No Merixa account
Management Micro does not require you to create a Merixa user account.
Your Google or Apple account used to download or purchase the Application is maintained by the relevant platform rather than by Merixa.
Because there is no central Merixa Management Micro account, there is no separate Management Micro online account requiring remote deletion.
Local Application information can instead be managed through Management Micro and your device.
Uninstalling Management Micro
Before uninstalling Management Micro, preserve any reports, encrypted workspaces or other information that you need.
Uninstalling the Application may remove locally stored information.
It does not necessarily:
cancel an active subscription;
delete exported files;
delete device or cloud backups;
delete Google Play purchase history; or
delete Apple purchase history.
Subscriptions should be managed separately through the store through which they were purchased.
Privacy
Management Micro has a dedicated privacy policy explaining:
local data processing;
client and supplier information;
backups;
encryption;
exports and sharing;
subscriptions;
support correspondence; and
your data-protection rights.
Please refer to:
Merixa Management Micro Privacy Policy
for the full privacy information.
Terms & Conditions
Use of Management Micro is governed by the:
Merixa Management Micro Terms & Conditions
The Terms explain matters including:
the Application licence;
professional and multi-client use;
financial decision-support limitations;
encrypted workspace collaboration;
purchases and subscriptions;
intellectual property;
user responsibilities; and
applicable consumer rights.
Management Micro is a decision-support tool
Management Micro helps users organise and analyse financial and management information.
It does not replace appropriate professional judgement and does not provide Merixa professional accounting, tax, legal, audit, investment or regulated financial advice merely because you use the Application.
For significant commercial, accounting, regulatory or legal decisions, you should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.
